In addition to the three main items the Board receives at each meeting (the agenda, the executive director’s report and the minutes of the previous meeting) the Board also may receive additional reports from other sources. The five standing committees (executive, board development, finance/budget, fund raising, personnel) as well as any ad hoc committees sometimes submit written reports in addition to what they report verbally at Board meetings (which would then be in the minutes). The four officers (president, vice president, treasurer, secretary) sometimes do as well.
